God is Love!

God is love. His very nature is love. That means God doesn't just love you some of the time; His love is unconditional and He loves you with an everlasting love.

Here are 3 ways God shows His love to you.

1. He sent His Son Jesus to die for you. Jesus Christ could have stayed in heaven, but He willingly came down to earth, sent by His heavenly Father, to suffer and to die -- for you and for me!  He paid the penalty for our sins.
2. God wants to spend eternity in heaven with you. God doesn't just love you here and now; He wants you to be His child and to join Him forever in heaven! God loves you and wants to spend all eternity with you.
3. God has great plans for your life here on earth. He didn't just leave us the Bible; He left us His Holy Spirit to lead us and to guide us. He knows paths that are good for you and, if we let Him, He will lead you and guide you into all that is good in your life!
