We all need forgiveness. The Bible says, “All have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” We have all done and said and thought things that are wrong, and these are called sins, and our sins separate us from God.
The good news is that God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross and pay the penalty for our sins. “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” God sent His Son to die so that you and I, if we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, would not pay the punishment of death and hell but we would be forgiven.
So the key to receiving God’s forgiveness is to accept the free gift of His Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross for your sins. Believe in God – ask God’s forgiveness; and accept the free gift of Jesus Christ who dies for your sins. You then can become a child of God and live in the joy of the forgiveness of God. Live for Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
