As Christians, we ache for our families to know Jesus and to live fruitful lives in Him. Today I want to come alongside you in praying for your family. I encourage you to read this prayer silently or aloud, believing God to work in your family!
Dear Lord,
My family needs you today and always. I invite You to move in each one of us today - drawing us closer to You.
I pray that my family would accept Jesus as Lord. Help me to be a witness of Your love and forgiveness. Lead me to know how to point them to You. Help me to see them as You see them!
I pray that my family would experience freedom in Christ. Lord, break every addiction, every emotional and spiritual stronghold, and fight for their freedom! Help me to treat them with your kindness, even as we work out our brokenness.
I pray that my family would be healed. By Your stripes, we are healed! I plead Your blood over every disease, mental illness and chronic condition.
I pray that my family would love one another well. Work your fruitfulness in our lives so that we could live in love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, long-suffering, gentleness and self control!
I pray that my family would be a light to the world! Whatever unique purpose and mission you have for us, I invite You to lead us into that. Use us for Your glory, God!
