Do you ever have hard days? Days that you can't wait until they come to an end and you can go to sleep forgetting what happened that day? I know I do! On days that I lose my cool one too many times, find myself being mad at everyone, and end up feeling deep regret for my actions, I think of this Bible verse:
"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23
It is so important for us to remember that God's love for us never stops and His mercies are never-ending! His mercies are new EVERY morning! We can wake up from a bad day and be ready to start a new one with Him. We can trust in His faithfulness and that He will bring us renewal! This verse always brings me comfort when I feel like I have messed up and I hope that you keep it in mind the next time you have a hard day. Maybe write it down and stick it on your bathroom mirror or alarm clock as a reminder that His mercies really are new every morning!
