Why Did Jesus Come To The World?

Jesus' birth was foretold by the prophet Isaiah centuries before He was born. But, it was God's plan all along that He would come. Why did He come to the world?

Jesus left all of the glories of heaven and came to the Earth as a tiny fragile human baby to save us!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." John 3:16

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”' Luke 19:10

Why? Because of love!
You see, Jesus loves you so much that He was willing to give up everything to save you and to have a relationship with you! So, while at Christmastime many people celebrate Jesus' birth, it is even more important that we remember what He did as a man by dying on the cross and rising again in order to save us from separation with Him and to give us abundant life!

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." John 10:10

"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
