Praying is talking with God. It is amazing, but the God of the entire universe loves you and wants to talk with you! When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, you become a child of God and you can speak with God anytime!
When we pray, it is natural that we often pray about our lives, and our needs, and our concerns. What is wonderful is that we can also pray to God for others and their needs.
It is fine to pray about your own concerns. One way we can love others is to pray for them also. You can ask God for healing for those you love; that God will give them peace; and for God's blessing on their lives.
You can pray for those you love; you can pray for forgiveness for those who have wronged you. And you can pray that God will draw to Himself those who do not know Him. You can be used of God in praying for others, both in your own life and around the world!
