What is the 2nd Key?
There are many keys to successful Christian living; we have identified 6.
The first key is to be sure you are a Christian and have accepted Jesus Christ. What is the second key?
The second key is to be filled with God's Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit in your life, even living the Christian life can seem like a bunch of rules. You will not have the power to overcome sin and the world and your own weaknesses.
When Jesus was about to rise into heaven after He was crucified and then raised from the dead, He told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were filled with the Holy Spirit. He said "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit is come upon you."
The Holy Spirit is God. It seems amazing, but God Himself, in the power and person of the Holy Spirit, wants to come and dwell in your life! God's power in you -- the same power that raised Jesus from the dead -- can give you great victory in your life!
So invite the Holy Spirit to reign and rule in your life -- to fill you with God's presence -- to live the life of God through you. This is the second key to living the victorious Christian life!
