Many of us know Paul as an apostle of Jesus and the author of many books in the New Testament. There was a time that Paul was not a fan of Jesus though and in fact, he wanted to hurt people who did follow Jesus. What happened to change Paul's heart and his view of who Jesus was?
Paul was on the road to Damascus to persecute followers of Jesus when something BIG happened. Suddenly, a bright light shone all around him and he heard the voice of Jesus asking him why he was persecuting Him! Imagine Paul actually heard the voice of Jesus and may have even seen Him. Not only that, but he knew that it was the Lord speaking to him. It took Jesus speaking to him, for him to see that he had been wrong all along and Jesus truly was the Messiah!
