If you want your husband to be more like someone else, watch out!
Pray, communicate with your husband about your needs and plan together to have a growing and healthy marriage, but remember that in any relationship, you're responsible for loving others and changing only yourself.
Matthew 7:3-5 (NRSV)
Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your neighbor, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor’s eye.
Galatians 6:4 (LB)
"Let everyone be sure to do his very best, for then he will have the personal satisfaction of work done well and won’t need to compare himself with someone else."
