Jesus and the New Testament writers made it very clear how we can be saved. Here is what they say.
The Bible says in Acts "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved..." So we must put our faith in Jesus Christ.
In the Book of John, Jesus says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but would have everlasting life."
In 1 John, John says "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
In Romans, Paul says "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved."
There are many other Scriptures like these, but the message is clear and amazingly simple. Ask God's forgiveness; believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord who God raised from the dead; and you will be saved!
