What is a Christian? Is it someone who is good -- or who obeys certain laws -- or who lives in a certain country?
A Christian is someone who believes in God and has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
The Bible says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved..." It says "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish but would have everlasting life."
So what makes you a Christian is if you believe in God; have asked God's forgiveness for your sins; and have accepted the free gift of Jesus Christ Who died on the cross for your sins. You should then ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit and help you live a life for God. If you have done these sincerely, you are a Christian.
