Have You Put Your Trust In The One Who Made You?

There is a story that I have heard several times that takes place many years ago. The story goes that a man's car breaks down on the side of the road. He tries everything to make the car work again. No matter, what the man tried, the car simply would not start. Then another man pulled up and offered to help. The second man took a look at the engine and, after making some adjustments, told the man to try to start the car again. Sure, enough, the car worked! The man was stunned! When he asked how the stranger knew what was wrong with the car, the man replied, " I am Henry Ford. I built the car. I know how it works."

Friends, we too have someone that knows all about how we run! We can trust God, and we know He cares for us. He knows exactly how we work and what we need. When life brings us trouble, and we feel like our engine is running on fumes, we need to remember that we can and should always turn to the One who made us. He knows us from the inside out because He created us!

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." Psalm 139:13-16
