What is the key to obtaining eternal life? The Bible tells us!
In the human heart, there is a yearning to live forever. We were created to love God and spend eternity with him, and somehow in our hearts there is that knowledge and yearning.
The problem is we have all sinned, and so we are separated from God. Our sins deserve punishment, and if we came into heaven in our pride and arrogance and sin, heaven would no longer be heaven.
God has provided a solution -- He sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Salvation -- and eternal life -- is a free gift from God when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior! "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish but would have everlasting life."
