The Bible has over 1,100 chapters. Some are short; some are very long!
The shortest chapter of the Bible is Psalm 117. In the original language, Hebrew, it had only 15 words. In English it has two verses:
"Praise the Lord, all nations; Laud Him, all peoples!
For His lovingkindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord is everlasting. Praise the Lord!"
There is wonderful truth in this short Psalm. We are to praise the Lord from every nation and people; for God is truly worthy of our praise!
God's lovingkindness is wonderful to us, and His truth lasts forever. God is truly worthy of all of our praise!
