“but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
How is that they who wait upon the LORD will be able to do these things that are so incredibly hard to accomplish? We can’t fly like eagles, or just keep running forever without getting tired or even walk mile upon mile upon mile without fainting. There is One who can do all of this and more though!
God does not get tired, grow weary, or faint due to exhaustion. When we wait for the Lord, we are humbling ourselves and saying that we trust He will give us His strength. It is in our suffering and trials, He brings us renewed strength and joy. If we do not want to grow tired spiritually then we must rely on God's strength and guidance. Then when our time on this earth is over, we will experience life the way it was meant to be and we will know what it is like to never feel tired spiritually or physically again.
