Peace is a word that is often thrown around as if it is something attainable by the whole world. While there will never be world peace until the return of Jesus Christ, we who are in Him can know perfect peace.
Who does God give His perfect peace to? Is it the one who can quote the Bible word for word or the person who volunteers every single Sunday at the church? These are not bad things to do, but the Bible does say what a person must do to have perfect peace.
"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3
According to the Bible, which is God's very word spoken to us, He gives His perfect peace to the one that TRUSTS in Him! When you trust in God, you know that no matter what happens He is in control and you will be at peace knowing that the King of the Universe is on your side.
