Good Friday is the day Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins.
All of us have sinned and we are not worthy to enter heaven. God loved us and gave His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.
So while we deserve punishment, we actually receive the reward of being sons and daughters of God. It is hard for us since we all know we have sinned, but God sees us freed from our sins and clean in His sight. Jesus Christ took the punishment that was due to us and exchanged death for life.
So you can be freed because of Jesus! You can have hope because of Jesus! The guilt of our sin has been washed away by the blood of Jesus. Thank you Jesus for your death on the cross!
